About Me
Angelica Martinez-Gamboa is a Costume Designer and Technician from Southern California, pursuing a Master of Fine Arts Degree at The University of Alabama, Alabama. Originally from Sacramento, California, Angelica has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Technical Theatre and Design from California Polytechnic University, Pomona, CA.
After graduating, Angelica was the Resident Costume Supervisor at The School of Arts and Enterprises in Pomona, CA, working closely with the Theatre Department and the Dance Department to costume productions on both the high school and middle school campuses. Angelica then found her love for education and working with students, preparing them for their higher education opportunities in theatre. Since finding her passion on sewing, craftsmanship and design, she has expanded her repertoire to include hair and makeup as well as scenic painting.
Angelica is a recent graduate of The University of Alabama, Tuscaloos, AL, earning her MFA in Costume Design and Construction. During her time there, she refined her stitching skills
